Windows 7 32 bit takes a minimum of 16Gig and Windows 7 64 bit takes a minimum of 20 Gig. I wouldn't buy a small SSD as a small-scale SSD is slower and is inconvenient to utilize as y'all will be everlastingly moving files well-nigh to free up space. I would suggest that you buy a 120 Gig SSD with a large hard bulldoze as data storage equally a smaller SSD is non that much cheaper and a larger SSD non that much faster.

I am thinking of getting a solid land drive to import windows vii onto and just use information technology for that and nothing else so theoretically my calculator will start quicker but how much infinite minimum do you lot guys call back should be best for this? similar I Don't want to waste material money on space I'k non going to apply.
7/five/14 I've tried in a virtual auto with Windows 7 32-bit (SP1, I retrieve), I had an 8GB virtual disk and information technology wouldn't install. I increased information technology to 10, and it worked but barely had whatever space left on the drive. The error message that I got when I had an 8GB virtual disk was something like "Windows needs 9.(a bunch of numbers) to install". So you only need about fifteen, but I'd go with large disks, like 150, or 250, or 500, or even 1000 GB, which is a terabyte. If you take 4 250GB disks, that's equal to 1 1TB (1 terabyte) bulldoze.
My computer has one 179GB deejay and so a 150GB deejay which barely has anything on information technology. I of my other computers has a 500GB drive and I'chiliad not certain it has another one. If it does it's an 150 or 250 GB.
UPDATE 9/13/xiv the other computers has a (probably 7200 rpm) traditional spinning difficult drive of 500 GB, and then there'southward an 87 GB ssd which has naught on information technology. everything's on the 7200 bulldoze.
